Maryland licensing rules

Reciprocity
An out-of-state licensed engineer can obtain a Maryland reciprocal license by electronic application with a $56.00 application fee plus the $86.00 license fee, and must qualify under one of three paths: an EAC/ABET-accredited degree plus four years of engineering experience, a non-accredited/foreign degree plus eight years of experience, or twelve years of engineering experience (at least five in responsible charge); all paths require passing the FE and Principles and Practice exams. The Board reviews applications monthly, though applications meeting minimum license eligibility ("MLE") criteria are approved administratively on an ongoing basis. Source
