The verification layer licensed professionals rely on.

EngineeringID is professional credential infrastructure — the verification layer that binds a licensed professional's confirmed identity and real-time license status into a cryptographically sealed record attached to every document they produce. Free for engineers. Built for the firms that employ them.

Built for international practice

Your firm's addressable market is global.
The platform you use should be too.

Engineering and professional-services firms grow by serving clients across borders. But every new jurisdiction adds a compliance tax — DPAs, data residency questions, regulator filings. We carry that load so your firm can say yes to the next contract.

For decades, the seal on a drawing set, tax return, or contract has been the single artifact that carries a professional's authority across state lines, continents, and timezones. It's also been trapped in paper — subject to forgery, delay, and a thousand flavors of plausible doubt.

We started EngineeringID because verifying credentials shouldn't take a business day. A structural engineer in Toronto should be able to seal a report and have a client in Dubai confirm it before the email has finished syncing. A licensed professional should carry their license the way a passport works: signed by an authority, verifiable by anyone.

Firms with international client bases tell us the same story: they lose more contracts to compliance friction than to competitors. Every EU client wants a DPA; every Canadian client wants data residency in Canada; every Japanese client wants APPI evidence. We built EngineeringID so global firms can say yes on day one, regardless of where their next client sits.

The platform is built for regulators who need audit trails, for professionals who need dignity, and for anyone downstream who just needs to know: is this real?

"Trust, at internet speed, with a paper trail we aim for accurate disclosure on."
— The guiding principle
Principles

What we believe, out loud.

§01

Cryptography is the product.

Every seal is a mathematical assertion that can be checked by anyone, anywhere, with no permission and no vendor. We rely on open primitives so that if we vanish tomorrow, your signatures still mean what they mean.

§02

Privacy is a posture, not a policy.

We minimize what we collect, encrypt what we keep for credentials and secrets, and do not sell data.

§03

The paper trail should be immutable.

Sealed documents are versioned, hash-chained, and independently verifiable — even offline. A certificate revoked today doesn't retroactively erase a signature from last March. History stays honest.

Milestones

Where we've been.

A short record of the commitments we've kept since starting this.

  1. 2025
    Q4

    EngineeringID founded

Started as a single-purpose tool for PE-stamped structural drawings — a frustration at the intersection of law, safety, and paperwork.

  2. 2026
    Q1

    4 professions credentialed

Engineers, architects, land surveyors, and landscape architects — the four licensed professions at the core of the built environment.

  3. Roadmap

    Post-quantum cryptography primitives

Kyber KEM and Dilithium primitives integrated; production signing remains RSA-PSS today.

  4. Roadmap

Native iOS, macOS, and Android apps

    Native client work in development.

  5. Roadmap

    Multi-region deployment

    Multi-region data residency in planning.
